Jim Allan CFA, MBA, CIM, FCSI, QFOP

Jim Allan is the Chairman and co-founder of Roundtable Capital Partners Inc., and is the President of Roundtable Asset Management, Ltd. He is responsible for the overall investment and trading decisions that affect mandates under Roundtable's direction and serves as the lead portfolio manager to the Roundtable Funds.

Before founding Roundtable, Jim was the Vice President of Portfolio Management at a boutique, Toronto-based asset management firm from 1999 to 2005 where he managed large and small capitalization portfolios. During his tenure at the firm, the funds on which Jim was listed as a portfolio manager were consistently top-quartile performers within their respective peer groups. From 1992 to 1998, Jim was a financial consultant, first with CIBC Wood Gundy and then with TD Evergreen in Toronto. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000, is a member of the CFA Society of The Bahamas and the CFA Institute, is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, a Qualified Family Office Professional, sits on the Investment Committee of the Lyford Cay Foundation, and is a registered director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

Geoffrey Spidle

Geoff Spidle is the President and co-founder of Roundtable Capital Partners Inc. He is responsible for overall business operations with his primary focus on client communications and business development with individual, institutional and family office investors. Geoff is also the Chief Compliance Officer of the firm. Additionally, he is registered as a Director of the Roundtable Growth Fund, Ltd. based in the Cayman Islands.

Prior to Roundtable, Geoff was Vice President of Business Development with a boutique, Toronto-based asset management firm where he worked closely with Jim Allan from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, he was a partner with private ventures in Bermuda and Montreal. Geoff is a member of the Board of Governor's of Appleby College and is a Trustee of the Appleby College Foundation in Oakville, Ontario.

Peter McCarthy

Peter is a principal of Roundtable Capital Partners Inc. and is responsible for business development and client communications, focusing on private clients, foundations and family offices. Initially, he was part of the Roundtable Advisory Council before joining the team as an officer and was instrumental in the early marketing of the firm. His focus is to work closely with a limited number of relationships and provide the highest standard of service to our valued client base.

He joined Roundtable Capital Partners in 2007 and prior to that he was Vice President of JJ Barnicke Ltd. in Toronto. His focus in the commercial real estate business was portfolio leasing where he represented the interests of some of Canada’s leading corporations. Prior to J.J. Barnicke Ltd, he worked at Meredith & Grew in Boston for 4 years in a similar capacity.

Peter is active in the on-going development of the game of golf in Canada. He is the Vice President of Golf Canada Foundation Board which provides funding for Junior Golf, National Amateur Championships, Canada’s National Team and the new Emerging Professionals Program that funds Canadian’s to compete on the highest levels in the game. Peter has proudly served as Club Captain and member of the Board of Directors for Rosedale Golf Club.

edward barnicke

Edward Barnicke CFA, LLM

Edward is a portfolio manager at Roundtable and responsible for the management of the Roundtable Funds as well as the firm’s separately managed accounts. His research includes site visits, meeting with company management and the construction of financial models. Edward joined Roundtable in 2009 and has become an instrumental member of the team.

He was awarded a Master of Laws from BPP College, London, UK in 2009 and completed his BSc Business Management at King's College London, UK in 2007. Edward received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2014.

amit joshi

Amit Joshi CAIA

Amit is an Associate Portfolio Manager at Roundtable. His responsibilities include analyzing various aspects of the firm's portfolios including profit attribution and risk metrics, as well as creating and updating portfolio models. Amit’s research focus includes fundamental analysis, meeting with company management teams, and communicating with sell side analysts.

Amit is a graduate from the University of Waterloo where he attained a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Economics and specializing in Finance and Public Policy. Amit has successfully completed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program and received the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation in 2013. Prior to joining Roundtable, Amit spent four years as a Hedge Fund Accountant for SS&C Fund Services, as well as Butterfield Fulcrum, where he gained valuable experience in alternative investments.

anderson mendonca

Anderson Mendonca BBA

Anderson Mendonca is the Operations Manager at Roundtable. He is an integral part of our team focusing on client service, financial operations and facilities management. His responsibilities include client reporting, compliance and fund administration.

Anderson is an Honours graduate of a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University and has successfully completed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.

Anderson’s previous work experiences include a position as a Senior Fund Accountant at Sentry Investment Inc. as well as postings at CITCO Canada and CIBC Mellon Global Securities Services. He is an avid sailor, holding the position of Officer Commanding and Sail Instructor with the Regional Cadet Sail School. Currently, Anderson is a member of the board of directors for the Markham Sports Hall of Fame.
